The Lodge is part of Minstead Trust, which supports over 320 people from Poole to Portsmouth. The Trust helps individuals with learning disabilities across Hampshire and Dorset develop skills for employment and more independent, fulfilling lives. Your event will contribute to them making new friends, learning kitchen skills, and working towards employment.

The Trust offers day opportunities services at the Lodge, Portsmouth, and Poole, owns several supported living properties, and operates four social enterprises.

Minstead Lodge is one of these social enterprises, along with Furzey Gardens in Minstead, Hanger Farm in Totton, Lily&Lime in Portsmouth, and the Real Jam & Chutney Company based at Minstead Lodge.

The social enterprises generate essential income for the charity and offer vital training opportunities for people with learning disabilities. At the Lodge, we support individuals in working in the kitchens, serving front of house, and tending the Victorian kitchen garden to produce ingredients for the Lodge’s kitchens.
